The Message Tracking Filter (MTF) is used to track all email messages that leave your mail server. With the Message Tracking Filter enabled all messages that are sent out from the server receive a tracking number. The tracking number can be used to look at an entire message thread. This can be useful, for example, when trying to verify that a reply was sent to a particular message.
Note: The Message Tracking Filter does not track system generated messages such as warnings and bounces generated by SLmail.
Note: You must have Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) version 2.1 or greater installed on your server in order to enable Message Tracking Filters.
The Filter Information dialog box gives a description of the filter. You can disable the message tracking filter by unchecking the Filter Enabled check box and then clicking the Edit button.
Note: You will be prompted to restart your computer for this change to take effect.
